Hyatt Regency Vancouver Hosts 31st Gingerbread Lane in Support of Make-A-Wish Foundation

Enchanting Holiday Tradition Returns to Spread Joy and Grant Wishes


Vancouver (October 26, 2023) – Hyatt Regency Vancouver is thrilled to announce the 31st Gingerbread Lane event, an annual cherished holiday displays supporting the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The gingerbread house will open to the public from December 1st to December 29th, spreading holiday joy and granting the wishes of children facing critical illnesses.


Gingerbread Lane draws over 20,000 visitors each year. It offers a unique opportunity for the community to witness the exceptional talents of local individuals and groups who use gingerbread as their canvas to create awe-inspiring masterpieces.


The entry deadline for the gingerbread house contest will be November 1st. All are welcome to participate, and entries are divide into four different categories such as professional, corporate, amateur, and secondary school. The winner will be announced at the opening ceremony on November 30th. This contest not only sparks creativity and friendly competition but also serves as a platform to raise awareness and funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Hyatt Regency Vancouver is deeply honoured to be a part of this mission from Make-A-Wish, as our commitment to the community aligns with the Foundation's noble objectives.
